Six Punjab tourists, driver injured as auto skids | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 18: Seven person including six Punjab based tourists were injured when a three wheeler rolled down at Peer-khoh on Wednesday, police sources said. The injured have been identified as Vijay Kumar s/o Niranjan Dass, Tarun s/o Ajay Kumar, Naveen s/o Davinder, Balram Raj s/o Chuni Lal, Samval s/o Ajay Kumar, Davinder Mahana s/o Shyam all residents of Jullandhar Punjab and an auto driver namely Ashwani Kumar son of Munshi Ram of Peermitha. As per police reports seven persons received injuries after a three wheeler in which they were traveling in rolled down here at Peer khoh where huge rush was witnessed during the three day long Shivratri festivity celebrations. Soon after the accident the police team evacuated the injured to hospital where the the injured are undergoing medical treatment, police sources said. They said that the injured from the Punjab had went to offer prayers at Shiva Lingum at famous holy cave shrine of Peer Khoh. Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this connection. |
