| National conference on 'Microscopy & advances in material sciences' held at JU | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 2 : The National Conference today held on 'Microscopy & Advances in Material Sciences' which was organized by department of Physics and Electronic, University of Jammu. According to press release, President EMSI and Director, DRDO (Technical) Dr. K. Muraleedharan was the chief guest and President, EMSI, North Zone Chapter Prof. R.P. Tondon was the guest of honour on the occasion. The conference was commenced with lighting of traditional lamp and Saraswati Vandana at the Convention Hall of the Business School . The conference is organized in association with Electron Microscopy Society of India - North Zone Chapter and the UGC - SAP programme of the department. The main aim to organizes the conference to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars of the country working in the area of advances in materials and microscopy. Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu, Prof. R.D. Sharma said that Dept of Physics & Electronics is one of the icons of the University and it is a matter of pride that every faculty in the Dept is organizing academic activities which in turn is surely benefitting the students and the Scholars as well.
Among others faculty of the Department, Delegates, Scholars, Students were also present on the occasion. |
