Farewell party organised 3/3/2015 12:37:23 AM Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 2: Farewell party was organized by the students of Class 9th for Class 10th students. The President of SD Tara Puri School Management Committee S.S. Malhotra was the Chief Guest. Other dignitaries of the Management Committee were also present. The function started with the lightning of lamp alongwith the Mastras. A beautiful cultural programme was also organized by the students of both the classes. After that the Chief Guest handed over the cheque of Rs. 5000/- and a trophy to each meritorious students from school side, Rs. 3000/- cheque to each and one cheque of Rs. 5000/- to Gursheen Kour from Ms Vipan Gupta M/s Vipan Book Palace, Nai Basti and Rs. 2100/- to each was presented from Mr. Ashok Gupta M/s Narayan Electronic Main Road, Satwari. In the year 2009 Dharna Padha clinched 19th and Devika Sharma 20th Position in the year 2012 Gursheen Kour fetched 2nd position Radhika Gupta 8th position, Shivam Gupta 17th position and Ishan Slathia 20th position. In the year 2013 Richa Bhardwaj clinched 11thposition. Scholarship cheque amounting Rs. 6000/- was given to Vardhan Padha of class 10th for securing highest percentage in class 9th. Principal and Management of the school lauded the efforts of students, staff and their parents. Among the students of present 10th class VArdhan Padha was adjudged as S.D. Tara Puri, Aayushi Sharma as Miss S.D. Tara Puri, Sushant Sharma as Gem of the class and Shubam Singh as disciplined. Crown ceremony was done by Dr. Champa Sharma Retd. HOD Dogri Deptt., Dr. Jugal Puri (Hindi Lecturer) Govt. College of women Gandhi Nagar, Jammu and Principal and Vice Principal of the school. Principal Neeru Puri blessied the students and advised them to work hard to achieve the goal.
