| AJKDCM reconstituted | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 2: A meeting of Social Organizations/Sabhas of SC Communities was held in the premises of Mahasha Sadar Sabha Dogra Hall under the chairmanship of Kesar Singh wherein previous All J&K Dalit Chetna Manch, an amalgam of SC Organizations was reconstituted into adhoc body.
A threadbare discussion was held and it was strongly felt that discriminations with these communities are increasing. Atrocity Act of 1989 has not been extended to J&K State and Reservations Rules are not implemented in letter and spirit. A strong need was also felt to accelerate the Mission of Bharat Ratan Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar in J&K State.
This Dalit Manch will work hard to protect the rights of SC Communities.
The Heads/Representatives of State Level SC Organizations/Sabhas participated in the meeting and expressed happiness by reconstituting All J&K Dalit Chetna Manch. More members of different SC Organizations will be included in this Manch as and when identified.
The following members belonging to different SC Organizations/Sabhas were elected unanimously. Sham Lal Basson President, Ramdasia and Narinder Dutt Bhagat Gen. Secretary
