Vaishno College of Engineering organizes seminar on Power Electronics 3/3/2015 12:47:32 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 2: Thapkour, Department of Electrical and Electronics and Communication Engineering organised an information-based seminar at Vaishno College of Engineering. This one day seminar was on "Power Electronics" for Electrical and Electronics and Communication Engineering students by Dr. Nitin Langer (MIET, Jammu). According to press release, the main purpose of this seminar was to make students aware of latest technology and development in the field of Power Electronics and power quality. The students were guided about the opportunities in their respective areas. Students were motivated to pursue further research in the field of Electronics. Dr. Nitin Langer was overwhelmed by the interaction with the students. He expressed his gratitude towards the faculty of Electrical and Electronics Department. Dr. Vishwakarma (Vice Principal, VCOE) presented the momento to the guest. At last college Principal Lt. Col. A.K.
