Dept will pay all dues by next year: Director Rural Dev Deptt 3/3/2015 12:49:37 AM Kathua, Mar 2: Director Rural Development, Jammu ensured on time payment to labors being unused in different developmental programmes held under MGNREGA. He said the amount will be funded to their personal bank accounts through e-FMS where no place will be left for any Mal-functioning in payment process. He was speaking on 2 days workshop organized by District Programme Coordinator MGNREGA (ACD) Kathua after the direction of Rural development department and Panchayat Raj Jammu. In order to sensitize the field functionaries about the implementation of e-FMS (electronic Funds Management System), a workshop/training session was organized by the District Programme Coordinator MGNREGA (ACD) Kathua at Hotel Avalon Residency Kathua in which Block Development Officers, Programme Officers MGNREGA, Bankers, field functionaries of Distt Kathua i.e Panchayat Secretaries, GRS's and Data entry operators Accountants participated. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Sahid Iqbal IAS Deputy Commissioner Kathua where G N Balwan (KAS) Director Rural Development Jammu was guest of Honour in this occasion. Tilak Raj (KAS) District Programme Coordinator (ACD) Kathua given a detailed resume of the scheme MGNREGA and also explain the objective of the e-FMS. He emphasized the proper implementation of New guidelines of MGNREGA in which stress has been laid on to provide guaranteed 100 days Job to unskilled labour besides taking of the works strictly as per the permissible activities. 60 % works shall be selected in Agriculture related activities.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
