Criticizing Mufti's controversial remarks Congress stages protest | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Mar 2: Criticizing chief minster Mufti Mohammad Sayeed controversial remarks in which he gave credit to Pakistan, Hurriyat Conference and Militants' group to conduct smooth and fair assembly election in 2014, congress party today staged protest demonstration. According to press release, The protest was led by Naresh Sharma, Pankaj Sharma, Kulbir Singh Pathania, Sameer Sharma, Sunny Sharma, Rajesh Sharma and many other Congress workers shouted slogans against new coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir. The protesters stringently flayed Mufti's remarks and said these anti-national remarks broke sentiments of people who voluntarily came ahead and exercised their votes. While addressing to protesters, Naresh said Mufti's remarks were irresponsible and supportive of militants' groups. He said Bharatiya Janta Party, BJP, is equally responsible for such anti- national remarks. He alleged on government to promote militants' groups and demoralize security forces, people and honorable Election commission. Sharma said new coalition government has clarified its face by delivering irresponsible remarks and people should ready to heed such types of remarks in future too. Sharma said the new coalition government is threat to the public and opposition parties will disclose true face of government before public. When contacted to Surinder Singh, Sr. PDP Leader hailing from Kathua flayed all allegations of opposition parties imposed on Mufti Sayeed's remarks on Assembly election. He said there is no fault in remarks but opposition took its otherwise. Singh said NC- Congress parties did not expect formation of government in J&K, now their inner jealousy came out. He said PDP instructed other parties to work for the development than criticizing government to spread obstacles in development processes. Singh said PDP ensures all round development of all the three region of the state and no such forces seized the development process. He said voters were fed up to NC- Congress coalition and they wanted to teach lesson to both the parties so the voting turn out enhanced in previous assembly election. He sought public support and new avenue for development rather than indulging in controversial allegations. |
