| Industries Minister visits border villages of Vijaypur | | |  Early Times Report
samba, Mar 5: Minister for Industries and Commerce Chander Prakash Sharma today visited various villages of border areas of Vijaypur constituency in Samba district in which he interacted with the people of these areas and assured them of every possible help especially to the poor and people living in the border areas.
"The basic aim of organising today's tour was to express gratitude the people who gave him full support and made his victory possible and also to take stock of their problems and demands", Minister said.
While speaking on the occasion minister assured the people of these areas every possible support and further assured of transparent and accountable atmosphere in the district.
Enroot, he also visited Various border villages where the people in large numbers welcomed him and also apprised him of various problems being faced by them viz. Unemployment problem among youths of these border areas, various problems being faced by the farmers community , regular supply of water and electricity, repairing of roads , problem faced by them due to border firing , reclamation of their lands lost due to floods etc.
Minister patiently heard the problems being faced by these peoples and assured them that their genuine demands would be addressed at the earliest. He also said that one office will be established soon in the Vijaypur to redress the genuine problems of the people.
He further said that it was the resolve of the present government to provide better facilities to the rural people like road connectivity, potable drinking water, better irrigation, health facilities and education. Among others Sarpanchs, Panchs and large number of people present on the occasions. |
