Jammu, Mar 5 : The Jammu and Kashmir People Democratic Party, Jammu unit today celebrated Holi here at its District office Kacchi Chawani.
According to press release, Party senior leader Vikram Singh, Girish Sharma, Chaman Angral,Gourav Sharma, Pawan Kumar, Vinod Kumar, Parth Sharma, Jagdeep Singh, Vishavjit Singh, Suksham Mahajan, Jatin Choudhary and large number of party leaders and activists danced to the beats of drum amid sprinkling colours of the festival, exchanging greetings and distributing sweets in front of office.
Vikram Singh while extending Holi greetings people of Jammu and Kashmir, said that Holi has always been a festival of hope and happiness and expressing hope that a new chapter of progress and prosperity with the formation of new government in State.
He further appealed to youths of state to avoid drugs and work for peace, development and better future and take participation in sports. |
