| IGP Jammu reviews security in Pargwal, Kanachack | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 11: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu today reviewed security along border areas during his visit to Pragwal-Kanachak of Jammu region.
Police spokesman said that in view of frequent inputs of infiltration, IGP Jammu Zone Danish Rana along with senior IB officials Jammu today visited Pragwal and Kanachak sectors.
During the visit the IGP Jammu chaired a meeting in which officers appraised IGP Jammu about the demographic/detail law and order situation, militancy scenario, infrastructural position of border belt
SP Rural Rajiv Pandey and others officials highlighted problems pertaining to police personnel.
IGP Rana patiently listened to all the issues presented by the officers presented and issued on the spot directions. IGP impressed the participants to extend all possible support and assistance to the subordinate formations as and when required in the service of general public.
During his visit IGP Jammu was accompanied by SP Rural Rajeev Pandey, Naresh Singh SDPO Akhnoor, Sanjay Parihar SDPO Domana, SHO Kanachak, SHO Khour, officers from Army and officers from BSF. |
