Samba, Apr 18: 3 day's tournament of kho kho, volleyball, Kabaddi, wrestling and cricket in age groups of U-14 , U-17 and (U-16 cricket) entered 2nd day today.
The matches of wrestling and cricket were played under the supervision of Sukesh Sharma, ZPEO Hiranagar where around 121 Students of various schools take part in said games. Earlier Infants Jesus HSS lifted the title of U-16 cricket cup.
The matches were officiated by Avnesh Sharma, Rakesh Raju, Naresh Kumar, Omkar Singh, Rajiv Kumar where the results were in U-14 wrestling.
Sushil Kumar of G Marheen beat Mohd Sharif of mathurachak (33kg), Kuldeep of G Phalapur defeated Manish Kumar of G Jandi (36kg), Nakhil of G of Phalapur defeated Praveen of G Chhapaki Khurd (34kg), Sunny Kumar of G Pansar defeated Hashim Din of G Gadyal (30kg) Kuldeep Kumar of G Londi beaten Rahul Singh of G Chhan Khatrian.
In U-17 Wrestling Shafi mohd of GHSS HIRANAGAR beaten Teg Ali of GHSS Marheen (60kg), Mohd Billa of GHSS Marheen beaten up by Aslam of GHSS Hiranagar (50kg), Shoqat of GHSS Hiranagardefeated Shah Din of GHSS Marheen (45KG), Sadiq of GHSS Chakra Beat Ashrat of HSS Hiranagar (55kg). In Cricket U-16 category, GHSS chakra thrashed GHSS Marheen by 7 wickets. infants Jesus HSS Hiranagar beat GHSS Hiranagar by 14 runs. MP HSS Hiranagar outplayed GHSS chakra by 3 wickets. In the Final match, Infants Jesus HSS Hiranagar thrashed MPHSS Hiranagar by 4wickets. In Cricket U-14 category, GHS Chadwal defeated Chhan Khatrian by 3wickets.
DYSSO Kathua, Sunil Kumar also visited the venue along with Kuldeep Singh incharge sports activities. Sanjeev sunny, Dharminder Singh, Mohal Lal and Kulbhushan Sharma were also present. |
