Nagpur is itself an ideology, Kashmiri lawmakers must visit: Kaul | | | Saahil Suhail
Anantnag, May 1: Bahartiya Janta Party state general secretary Ashok Kaul Friday said that those lawmakers of the state who say capital of Jammu and Kashmir is in Nagpur, must visit the city for better understanding. Interacting with media on the sidelines of a function here in Dak Banglow Anantnag, BJP General secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul said, "Instead of criticizing, those lawmakers who are visiting Andra Pardesh for understanding the Panchayati system must also visit Nagpur city for better understanding as Nagpur is itself an ideology." He said that his party colleague and member of legislative assembly Ravinder Raina also requested Speaker during the recently concluded session to send these lawmakers to Nagpur. "My friend Ravinder Raina requested honorable Speaker to send all these legislators to Nagpur who were saying that the capital of the state has been shifted to Nagpur and major decisions are being taken there." He added. Pertinently, yesterday National Conference working President and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that the collation government has shifted state's capital to Nagpur. "Now the capital of Jammu and Kashmir isn't at Srinagar or Jammu but it is at Nagpur as the major decisions are being taken there," Omar Abdullah told reporters yesterday in Anantnag. On being asked about the stand of BJP on new recruitment policy, Kaul said that his party has conveyed to government that the two recruitment agencies Service selection recruitment board and union public service commission shouldn't lose esteem and importance. Kaul said that both the parties (PDP and BJP) respected people's verdict and joined hands for providing good governance and Development, however said that the things can't change in a fortnight. "We know treasuries are empty and employees are without salaries but things can't change in fortnight. Give us some time, everything will be streamlined," he added. Kaul along with MLC Ramesh Arora, MLC Sofi Yousf and other party leaders kicked off party's mass contact program. On the occasion BJP disclosed that 1.10lac voters in South Kashmir have registered themselves with the party. |
