Yudhvir Sethi donates medicine for Nepal earthquake victims | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 1: Carrying forward efforts to reach out to those in distress due to recent Nepal tragedy, senior BJP leader Yudhvir Sethi today donated medicines for the earthquake victims. Medicines worth lakhs were handed over to The Sara, an NGO for further transportation and distribution among the affected. Since the tragedy struck the Himalayan nation, Yudhvir has been constantly involved in efforts to raise support for the quake hit people. He had appealed people of the state to come forward and be part of the campaign to help those who have been struck with one of the worst tragedies of the region. "We understand the pain of our Nepalese brothers and sisters, as the state has itself witnessed wrath of nature during last September's flash floods and incessant rains. It is our human duty to reach out to those who have lost their loved ones and property," he appealed. He said Prime Minister Narinder Modi has extended full support to the neighbouring county and donated one month salary for the cause, adding that generous support should be extended to those affected. |
