Absconder held after 9 yrs 6/20/2015 11:34:43 PM Jammu, June 20 : Samba police today arrested an absconder, who was evading arrest for the past 9 years. The accused has been identified as Rashid Ahmed s/o Noor Mai of Raanjan Ambgarota Jammu. A police spokesman said, "On a specific input a police party from a police team headed by SI Surinder Nagra of P/S Samba under the supervision of Inspector Sanjeev Chib SHO P/S Samba and Varinder Singh, Dy. SP HQ Samba conducted a raid and arrested the absconder Police said that the absconder who was a bovine smuggler was evading his arrest in case FIR No. 85/2006 u/s 188 RPC P/S Samba.
