Chevrolet cricket cup enters 2nd day at KC Sports Club 6/20/2015 11:37:21 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 21 : Ongoing Chevrolet Cricket Cup 2015 tournament sponsored by KC Motors Jammu, entered 2nd day at KC Public School Cricket ground. The first match of the day was played between KCC and MFCC. MFCC won the toss and decided to bat first and put up a score of 126 runs in 20 overs. Mandy and Mahesh scored 27 and 18 runs respectively. Kamaljeet, took 3 wickets and Ashok took 2 wickets. In reply, KCC managed to Score only 114 runs in 18 over and lost the match. Goldy scored 16 runs for his side and Savanjeet made 14 runs. Ankit took 4 wickets while Rishav took 2 wickets. MFCC won the match by 12 runs. Ankit of KCC was declared 'Man of the Match'. Harsh Navgir, Sadiq Hussain Malik and Dilaber Singh were the officials of this match. The second match of the day was played between Shastri Cricket Club and New Challenger Cricket Club. Shastri Cricket Club won the toss and put up a score of 145 runs in 20 ovesr. Somy and Deeker scored 60 and 32 runs respectively while Sumit took 2 wickets and Ram Dayal took 1 wicket. In reply, New Challenger Cricket Club could not manage to chase the target and scored only 94 runs in 17 overs and lost the match. Manjeet Manhas scored 28 runs for his side and Vijay made 14 runs. Rompy and Anil Sharma took 3 wickets each. Shastri Cricket Club won the match by 51 runs. Rompy of Shastri Cricket Clubwas declared 'Man of the Match'.
