Jammu, July 9: Government Gandhi Memorial Science College today launches 'Talent Hunt' here at college premises. According to press release, principal of college professor Satinder Singh during his inaugural address to the 25 students selected for the second stage, 'Intensive Coaching for IAS', the real talent selected out of the first 2014-batch of 100 on the basis of the various parameters of merit. CCPC through a Common Entrance Test-IAS 2015, a 'talent hunt' will search 100 top meritorious students of which 50 percent shall belong to the poor class families for the 2015-batch, in the month of August this year. He apprised them of some programmes being run and various others proposed by the CCPC of this College. CCPC has also sent its project naming "The State Career Wing" for its consideration to the Department of Higher Education, Government of Jammu and Kashmir. This programme along with the coaching of IFS, Bank POs, CDS, Asst. Comdts., Railways is part of this project", he added. Elaborating his view points in charge of CCPC Prof. Subash K. Samyal apprised how 3 year IAS Coaching and other such Programmes work through the CCPC. For the talent hunt, students from the various colleges of the Jammu city will be getting the application forms from the CCPCs of their respective colleges after July 15, 2015. |
