Man goes missing from fiancée's house, Police rounds up four including woman

rajouri, July 9: Police have rounded up four person including a woman in Rajouri after a middle aged man having an alleged illicit relation with a woman of majority community went missing from the house of his fiancé in village Palulian, since Monday night in Rajouri district.
"Following the complaint from Sunita Kumari wife of missing Sheetal Kumar s/o Roop Lal r/o Dassal, Rajouri police have started the investigations in this regard after registering a missing complaint, police said.
A Police team went to Palulian village and during investigation also detained the woman namely Shahida Kousar w/o Mohd Jameel presently working in Dubai, her brother Khadim Hussain,Mohd Aksar her brother-in-law and other accused allegedly involved in this case and started questioning.
"Sheetal Kumar was operating a bus services between Rajouri and Plulian via his village Dassal and at night used to park the bus at Palulian and sometimes stay there, police sources said, further adding, "during preliminary investigation it was established that Sheetal had illicit relations with the woman and he made his forcible entry in the room of Shahida on Monday night."
"Shahida however requested him to leave the room and during arguments both came out in the open apprehending being noticed by the family members, police sources said quoting the woman detainee.
As per shahida's statement, "As they came out and walked towards a pine tree suddenly two unidentified persons appeared and started thrashing both of them."
Shahida claimed that she ran to her room for safety while Sheetal also ran towards the nearby forests and the two persons also disappeared in darkness of night. Claiming her innocence, Shahida further said what had happened to Sheetal she doesn't know?.
"Whether Sheetal was kidnapped or killed by the unidentified persons or perhaps he had gone hiding to face the police action or humiliation, all is a matter of detailed investigation and time consuming." said SSP Rajouri Dr Haseeb Mughal.
He further added when the police was on way back to police station along with detained persons, family members and relatives/villagers tried to resist the police action and resorted to stone pelting and damaged a police vehicle.
"A case will also be lodged against these unidentified persons to stop the police in performing their official duties, SSP Rajouri added.
Meanwhile Sunita Sharma wife of missing person said that on Tuesday morning when she went to hand over lunch Tiffin to Sheetal but found he was not there and the owner Suresh Kumar informed her about his (Sheetal's missing) and also asked to approach the police.
"We approached the police post at Rajouri in the afternoon and accordingly police lodged a missing report and had started investigation, she added.
