Jammu, July 9: Bakshi Nagar police claimed to have arrested two absconders who were evading their arrest for the last eleven years in separate criminal cases registered against them.
Police spokesperson identified the absconders arrested namely as Rajkumar of Resham Ghar and Arun Singh Jamwal of W-15 Panjthirthi presently at Janipur.
Giving details about the two accused, police said, "Rajkumar was wanted in a case under FIR 68/2004 under sections 342 and 323 of RPC while the other accused Arun Singh Jamwal was wanted in a case under FIR 34/2004 u/s 452 and 323/34 of RPC."
"On specific information about their movements, a party led by Inspector Ashwani Sharma, SHO Bakshi Nagar raided at different places and arrested them, police said, adding that the absconding duo has been evading their arrests for the last eleven years. |
