Jammu, July 9: In a petition filed by Prof Nutan Kumar Resutra, presently Chairman of BOSE, challenging show cause notice issued by Higher Education Department for reducing him to lower post and recovering Rs 1, 37, 500 from his pay on account of pecuniary loss caused by him to government exchequer while he was principal of Government Degree College, Rajouri.
High court judge B S Walia, after hearing Resutra's counsel, observed that counsel for the official respondents seeks time to place on record supplementary affidavit in support of his stand that the entire record relied upon against the petitioner was supplied to the petitioner prior to conduct of the enquiry.
Upon this, the court directed to file supplementary affidavit before next date of hearing and observed that counsel for the official respondents further undertakes to produce the record in support of the plea that the record relied upon against the petitioner was supplied to the petitioner and directed that till next date only, respondents are directed to maintain status quo. |
