Kishtwar, July 9: NABARD today organised quiz cum financial awareness programme here at Industrial Training Institute Kishtwar. According to press release, with a view to promote awareness about finance, banking, insurance among the student fraternity and public in general, NABARD organized a quiz competition cum awareness programme.
The students divided into teams were asked simple questions related to daily use banking, finance, insurance to assess their knowledge level and to increase the same so that they make safe use of all the available financial services.
Special focus was given to the recently launched Pradhan Mantri Jan Dan Yojna, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojna, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojna, Atal Pension Yojna , besides the gathering was informed about the details of services being offered in banks like saving accounts, fixed deposits, Kissan credit card, education loan, business loan .
The dignitaries present on the occasion including Adarsh Gupta (DDM, NABARD), Ashok Sen (Officer, J&K Bank), Anjana Shan (Faculty RSETI), Dinesh (Assistant RSETI), Kanta Devi (Supervisor, ITI), Asif Ali (Trainer ITI) and others. |
