| Man commits suicide, two found dead | | |

Jammu, July 9: A shopkeeper today allegedly committed suicide by jumping from a mountain in Athem area in Sidhra while two others were foundend mysteriously from canal road in separate incidents.
Police said that a man identified as Parmod Singh (40) son of Dhyan Singh of Athem in city outskirts.
Locals who found the man in a downhill lying unconscious, immediately informed the police and reached the spot. The police took the custody of body and later shifted body to the mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu. After legal formalities, the body was handed over to family members for last rites, police said. Meanwhile, Police recovered two bodies from canal road under mysterious conditions. Police said said that some passersby noticed bodies and immediately informed the police. After getting the information, police reached the spot and shifted both the bodied to the mortuary of GMC&H for identification and other legal formalities.
Police said that they registered 174 CrPc in both the cases and started investigation. |
