Kishtwar, July 9: The Chenab Valley Students' association (CVSA) today demanded Government Degree College for Paddar area of Kishtwar District. Talking to media persons here today, State President CVSA Mehran Anjum Mir said that association also discussed the issue of announcement of GDC Padder made by BJP MoS and MLA Kishtwar Sunil Kumar Sharma. Mir said that in his recent visit at Padder, the Minister made the announcement of opening Govt. Degree College at Padder and assured the locals that they need not to worry now because the classes of Degree will get started in the same year at Padder but unfortunately, during Board meeting held at Doda none of the announcement for such college was made. He claimed that for such fake announcement, the students who were waiting for the seeking admission in Degree course are mentally disturbed. Mir appealed to the Minister for converting his fake promise into the real one to preserve the sentiments of public otherwise the students will protest against him and CVSA will led them and the Minister will himself responsible for further happenings.
