PHE daily wagers stage protest, demand release of 2 year pending salaries 7/9/2015 11:45:51 PM Early Times Report Kishtwar, July 9: PHE daily wagers working in District Kishtwar today held two strong protests against the government for their failure in releasing two year pending salaries of daily wagers. As per the details available with Early Times, a meeting of daily wagers was held at PHE Division under the leadership of Irshad Ahmed Bagwan, President Daily Wagers Association PHE division Kishtwar wherein the participants slammed the government of stepmotherly treatment meted out with poor employees of PHE department working round the clock. While talking to Early Times Irshad Bagwan said that despite repeated assurance by the senior officials as well as the government, no salaries were released in favour of PHE Daily Wagers forcing them to held a strong protest outside Executive Engineer PHE office Kishtwar in support of wages pending since last two years. He said that even on the eve of Eid or Diwali, the department fail to give them the salaries while at the same time the officials of the department are utilizing their services like a bounded labor, added that in case the government fails to release their pending salaries, they will intensify its agitation and will even block water supply in the District.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
