LeT stoked anti-India sloganeering at Kishtwar on Eid day | | | Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report KISHTWAR, July 20: The preliminary police investigation has found out the hand of banned Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in the anti-national and pro-Pakistan sloganeering by some mischievous elements on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr in Kishtwar town during post Eid procession. As per the FIR register at Police Station Kishtwar vide FIR No 119 U/S 120B/124A RPC, 10/13/39 Unlawful Activity, LeT through an ReT teacher Abdul Gani son of Ghulam Ali Bhat resident of Pathgham Marwah stoked the anti-national and pro Pakistan slogans during the Eid procession. "During the post Eid Nimaz procession coming from Chowghan ground Kishtwar towards shrine of Sufi saint Hazrat Shah Mohammad Fareed-ud-Din Baghdadi (RTA), alleged anti national element identified as Abdul Gani son of Ghulam Ali Bhat at the instance of LeT instigate the youths to raise anti national slogans near Hidyal Chowk" read police FIR. The FIR further stated that Abdul Gani raise the slogans like Jaan Jaan Taliban (My life Taliban), Lashker-e-Toiba Zindabad, Pakistan Zindabad and other anti national slogans which were vigorously replied by the others including the six persons presently in police custody. "By doing such act, miscreant Abdul Gani not only tried to promote the LeT activities but also tries to spread the outfit's anti national agenda, beside also tries to harm the communal harmony and brotherhood in Kishtwar by indulging in such activities" stated police FIR which has so far mention the names of 13 persons including the seven persons presently lodged in Kishtwar police station lockup who had been identified by the police on the bases of videography. Keeping in view of the serious nature of the case, the investigation of the case was handed over to Dy. SP HQ Kishtwar. |
