IT department organizes awareness camp 7/21/2015 12:23:50 AM Jammu, July 20: Income Tax (IT) department today organizes an awareness camp here at Katra. According to press release, Principal Commissioner of IT Sangeeta Gupta said that the main purpose of holding such camp was to interact with the assessee's of the Katra and to aware them the benefits of filing of return of income. Sangeeta Gupta was welcomed by Sham Lal Kesar, President Hotel Association and other dignitaries of the Katra. Besides Principal CIT, KVK Singh, Additional Commissioner of Income Tax along with team of officers of the Department also attended. Gupta in her address pointed out that there is huge gap between the PAN holders and actual income tax payers.
