JKPRM flays State Government for dilapidated Koteranka-Budhal road | | | Early Times Report
Mendhar, July 20 : Flaying state government for not meeting its commitments, the JKPRM toady said that the dilapidated condition of roads of Koteranka-Budhal and hollow promises are realty of coalition government. Addressing a press conference held here today under the banner of JKPRM and Budhal United front, Nadeem Mir, Zahid Sagar, and Shahnawaz Khaki, Shazad Ahmed and Wajaid Panjnarvi told reporters that the roads in Koteranka Budhal are in worst condition, which is further resulting into occurrence of accidents on daily basis. "We are raising the genuine issue, aftermath a gruesome accident took place in Phalni area where an Alto car got jackknifed on its way to Budhal, though luckily no loss of life took place", they said, adding that it was promised, among other tall promises, by Grief RC 110 to complete the road from Mandirgala to Budhal in three months but hitherto no progress in work can be seen. Another road from Budhal to Ghabar was started 10 years ago but then left uncompleted leading to loss of cultivable land. No compensation to the poor farmers who donated their land for road construction has been paid resulting to worsening of their living standard. At this moment now people of area are requesting the administration especially the MLA of Darhal-Budhal to personally bring his kind attention towards this burning issue and sort this out with any possible solution. |
