ITI-CPWA activists protest over alleged 'discriminative approach' | | | Early times report
Udhampur, July 20: Continuing their struggle workers of ITI and CP Workers Association (ITI-CPWA) today protested against the state government and PHE authorities alleging for adopting callous approach towards workers from Jammu region against the counterpart in valley. Led by Ajay Somalia, the protestors raising slogans against the state government and PHE authorities alleged that they are discriminating Jammu against Kashmir. Addressing the protestors union leaders said the workers have not given their salaries from last two years despite repeated submission of charter of demands to concerned quarters. They said whenever they raised the demand for it they were assured of only release of 15 days only while to its contrast employees of Kashmir province have got their salaries released for the last 6 months which is an another example of discrimination with Jammu. They warned if their demand of release of pending dues for six months they will further intensify their stir till their demands are not met with. |
