BJP, PDP power hungry parties: Pamma | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, July 20: Questioning the basis of their 'unholy' and 'opportunist' alliance for the sake of power, Youth Congress leader Paramjeet Singh Pamma said that BJP and PDP are power hungry parties since there is nothing common between the two. He said these words during a protest demonstration at Jarai Chowk on Sunday. During the protest the protesters set ablaze the effigy of government. Recalling the centre and state government total failures he said that the present alliance as a combination of opportunist and power hungry forces who exploited the sentiments of the people on contradictory and opposite agendas, especially on the assurance to keep each other out of the power. "The people have are now questioning the basis of their present alliance in the back drop of their (BJP-PDP) slogans during election campaign, as both the parties have betrayed their respective electorate", he added. Paramjeet Singh Pamma further said that during the Prime Ministers' visit to Jammu the anti-nationalists were waving ISIS and Pakistani flags, Pakistan rangers were busy in cross border terrorism. Singh condemning the anti national attitude of PDP led coalition government said, "It is very unfortunate since Mufti Mohd Sayeed took the oath of Chief Minister, he breached the sanctity of the constitutional oath, and after that he released separatist leader Masrat Alam. This boosted the morale of separatist leaders and this is the reason that anti-nationalist in Kashmir got the courage of raising Pakistani flags on Indian soil. Vishu Andotra while expressing his views said that BJP surrendered all its' ideological stand and other promises to share power and has deceived the electorate. He questioned the stand of BJP over the issue of AIIMS, sanctioned for Jammu and the MOS in the PMO had complimented the government of India for the same. He exhorted the youth to come forward to expose the opportunistic policies of the BJP. He said that the youth have to play a vital role in maintaining the secular fabric of the state and country and defeat the politics of exploitation and falsehood. He asked the party men to strengthen the party by bringing in to the fold more and more youth into the secular mainstream. |
