Separatist JKLF needs to appreciate fake RSS | Agenda of Alliance | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jul 31: Seditionist and murderer Yasin Malik of Jammu & Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), like other seditionists and communalists in Kashmir, has upped his ante against the so-called nationalist and cultural organization, Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS), and accused the PDP-BJP coalition government of implementing the RSS anti-Muslim agenda in the state. His charge is not well-founded. The charge is spurious and not based on the fact. The fact is that the RSS has approved agenda of alliance and defended it by telling everyone in the parivar in Jammu itself that the present dispensation must continue and the BJP should make people aware of the achievements of the present dispensation in Jammu & Kashmir. The direction was given in this very month, when three top RSS functionaries visited Jammu for three days. Yasin Malik should have been happy with the stand of the RSS on Jammu & Kashmir and for the reason that it endorsed the agenda of alliance which was drafted by Ram Madhav, RSS ideologue and BJP national general secretary, in collaboration with former JKLF activist and PDP leader. Why because the agenda of alliance not only gives everything to Kashmir and further de-empowers the people of Jammu and Ladakh but also because it endorses the stand of the JKLF and other militant and separatist outfits in Kashmir that Jammu & Kashmir is not a settled issue. It appears the JKLF leadership, like other separatists in Kashmir, has not gone through the agenda of alliance, which is being denounced by the nationalist camp in the state as complete sellout, an agenda of subversion and a new charter of bondage or one more rivet in the chain of Jammu's slavery. It must go through it. It would surely feel jubilant in case its leadership went through the agenda of alliance. The reason is that the agenda of alliance not only maintains status-quo in the state but also empowers the state government to start dialogue process with Kashmiri separatists to find what could satisfy these so-called stakeholders in the state. Besides, it also recognizes Pakistan as a factor in the Indian Jammu & Kashmir; talks about demilitarization and withdrawal of such laws as AFSPA; appreciates the exclusivist Kashmiriyat; commends Vajpayee's break-India "Insaniyat, Jamhooriyat and Kashmiriyat" formulation; appreciates the Kashmiri communalists' and separatists' mischievous assertion that Jammu region is not homogeneous and that it has three distinct regions - plains of Jammu, Pir Panjal Valley and Chenab Valley --; rejects the demand of the West Pakistan refugees seeking all citizenship rights in the state; dismisses as no factor the internally displaced Kashmiri Hindus; rejects the demands of the displaced persons from PoJK; and so on. The fact of the matter is that the RSS has endorsed the Kashmiri Muslim sub-nationalism, which stands for the disintegration of India and virtually allows the Kashmiri separatists to create in the state Pakistan-like situation that led to the persecution and annihilation of the minorities, as also their exodus. What the JKLF stands for is what the agenda of alliance literally says and still it is unhappy with the RSS. What an irony! Malik should imitate BJP ally, chief of People's Conference and Cabinet Minister in the Mufti government out of the BJP quota, Sajad Lone, who has rightly understood the RSS and found in it a tool that helps the separatists' cause in the Valley and imposes their will on the unwilling people of Jammu and Ladakh. |
