Students allege discrimination in 2 yrs B.Ed course | | | Early Times Report Sunderbani, July 31: Students who recently passed out their graduation and are aspiring to pursue B.Ed course, have alleged discrimination with youths of Jammu in the shape of extended duration of professional educational course from Jammu University as compared to its counterpart Kashmir University where it is one year duration. Students alleged that there is a big conspiracy hatched against the students of Jammu region, as duration of B.Ed course remains same i.e. one year in Kashmir region while the duration of same course has been extended for two years reasons better known to the authorities. They demanded however questioned the different norms being observed in two universities and demanded equal norms for both the regions. Earlier many students including girls assembled outside college and staged protest against University authorities amid slogans over the controversial decision of extend of B.Ed course duration. Among those who addressed the protestors included Sourav Sudan, Vishal Khajuria, Sumit Sharma and many others and all in one voice demanded revocation of this controversial norms. |
