Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum expresses resentment over transfer, posting of lecturers' 8/3/2015 11:03:13 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 3 : The Central Executives of All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum today held meeting under the chairmanship of its President Kiranjeet Kour in which they expresses resentment on the transfer /posting of Lecturers' vide order No 426-DSJE of 2015 dated 30.07.2015 in which approximately 26 postings out of 127 have been effected against other subjects. The Forum is shocked over the approach of authority and debated on what logical grounds these transfers have been done and what will be the fate of affected students in the absence of subject Lecturers. They appealed the concerned Principals to approach the Director of School Education to take immediate remedial measures in the interest of students and institutions. These transfers are in gross violation of the proposed Draft Transfer Policy by the department as some Lecturers are transferred within zero kms whereas lot many serving in far-flung areas for more then 5 to 8 years, have been awaiting their transfers. The Forum strongly advocated immediate modification of these transfers as they are against other subjects because it is going to affect the results and enrolment in these schools which is already a matter of grave concern for School Education Department. They further assailed the appointment of Board officials drawn from Higher Education. Since J&K BOSE deals with the School Education Department, so all Officials of BOSE right from Joint Secretary level to Chairman should be drawn from the Plus 2 cadre only.
