Drug peddler held with haul of 2000 intoxicants vials 8/3/2015 11:28:07 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 3: Police today arrested a drug peddler and recovered huge haul of intoxicants ampoules and capsules from his possession during naka under jurisdiction of Nagrota Police. Meanwhile police also have arrested a bootlegger alongwith 48 illegal pouches of liqour. Police have identified drug peddler namely as Muneer Ahmed of Siddhra and Bootlegger as Rajinder Kumar of Tutan Di Khui.Police said that on specific information police team led by SDPO Nagrota Bharat Bhushan Sharma alongwith in-charge police post Sidhra Noor Mohammad under the supervision of In-charge SSP Jammu Rajiv Pandey held one youth Munner on suspicion. During his questioning, the accused made vital revelations and on his disclosures police team recovered a huge haul of intoxicants drugs including 2000 capsules and injections from which accused had buried in forest area. Police said that a motorcycle bearing registration number JKO2BE-0391 which he used to smuggle the consignment too has been seized. A case under narcotics act stand registered and further investigations are on Meanwhile, police team led by SDPO Nagrota Bharat Bhushan Sharma alongwith In-charge police post Sidhra Noor Mohammad recovered 48 illegal pouches of liquor from the possession of Rajinder Kumar of Tutan Di Khui who was arrested on the spot during naka checking at Sidhra.
