Omar better learn from his mistakes 8/3/2015 11:40:08 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 3: Former Chief Minister and National Conference president Omar Abdullah today charged Mufti Mohammad Sayeed-led PDP-BJP Government with worse handling of situation in Jammu arising out of 72 hour bandh for AIIMS. Omar's should have been the last person to accuse the government of mishandling the situation in Jammu. He is the person who not only mishandled Jammu but Kashmir as well during his six-year tenure which ended early this year. He has the distinction of being ridiculed by his own party men. The seniors requested Dr Farooq Abdullah to cut short his London stay and rush to Kashmir for saving the ailing National Conference. Omar's mishandling cost the party dearly. The party lost the government and all the Lok Sabha seats. Omar did the amends but it was too late. He raised the retirement age by two years and raised the upper age limit for seeking government employment.
