Jammu, Aug 3: The Janipur-Ambphalla road is in dilapidated condition and poses a grave threat to the commuters.
People of Janipur are up in arms against their MLA Sat Pal Sharma who otherwise raked up the petty issues in order to hogged the headlines of the media is least bothered to take any step to set things right.
Taking a dig at the Government for not repairing the road, Mubeen a resident of Janipur said," it is an irony that Government utterly failed to make the road motorable as big potholes are seen in the road.
As Janipur turns commercial with the opening of different stores and customers throng the to buy the same but the condition of road is a stumbling block in their business as the customers have to face the brunt for no fault of theirs.
The people have requested the judiciary to treat there is need for them to treat this story as PIL.
When contacted Chief Engineer ALOK MENGI Said "we are carrying out the repairs on this road and main reason for potholes is monsoon rains which unable to withstand it". |
