| Newsletter ‘Transparent’ released | | |  Early Timse Report
Doda, Aug 3: Government Degree College (GDC) Doda today released news letter of the college 'Transparent'.
According to press release, MLA Doda Shakti Raj Parihar was the chief guest on the occasion. After releasing the newsletter MLA inspected the infrastructure and interacted with the students and the faculty. He announced to donate one light vehicle for the College out of his CDF.
He also visited the college library and the smart class rooms. Appreciating the efforts of principal GDC Doda and staff members in maintaining the college campus and the academic standards of the college, he said that this is well maintained college in the entire erstwhile district Doda.
The students of the college demanded the construction of auditorium, play field and separate hostels for boys and girls.
College principal Prof Z A Hashmi speaking on the occasion said that college has become the first ever in erstwhile Doda district to provide online admissions and library facilities to the students.
He also said that there is sufficient infrastructure including the smart class rooms in the college but there is deficiency of technical staff to handle them. |
