Electoral rolls reviewed in Ramban 8/25/2015 11:09:03 PM Early Times Reoprt Ramban, Aug 25: Revision of electoral rolls and preparations for the coming Municipal Elections (MC) in district Ramban was reviewed in a meeting, chaired by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Ramban, Dr. Tahir Firdouis Dutta in his office chamber here today. According to press release, in the meeting, the feedback from all the concerned officers was received and the preparations were discussed threadbare. ACR directed all the concerned officers and officials to check the electoral rolls carefully and ensure foolproof final electoral rolls publication as well as for smooth and fair conduct of municipal election in the district. He directed Dy CEO to depute ambassadors at educational institutions level for organising awareness camps to sensitize the voters about entry of their name in voter lists and he further directed the officers to ensure removal of double entry of voters in different wards or polling stations. He also urged upon all officers and officials to work in close coordination so that the revision of electoral roll in the District would be completed successfully.
