Farewell accorded to Deepti Uppal 8/25/2015 11:09:50 PM Early Times Report Rajouri, Aug 25: Prominent resident of district today accorded warm send off to outgoing Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Deepti Uppal during the function various programmes was held in the district. A farewell party was organized in multipurpose hall of New Ashirwad Hotel and Restaurant in which a large number of civil society members, prominent citizens and leaders from different political parties took part. Besides outgoing Deputy Commissioner Deepti Uppal several other senior officers of the administration were present in the programme who include Deputy Inspector General of Police, Ashok Attri, Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Haseeb Mughal, Commandant JKAP 5th Bn Fareed Ahmed, ADC Mumtaz Chowdhary, ADDC Veer Ji Hangloo, AdlSP Tejinder Singh, SDPO Nowshera Sargun Shukla and other senior officers were present in the meeting. In the address locals, civil society members and political leaders while appreciating the six month tenure of IAS Deepti Uppal as Deputy Commissioner Rajouri said that in a short period she established a positive approach and was pro people and was playing a vital role in addressing the issues of different kinds.
