City Press Club constituted, Arvind elected president | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 25: City Press Club, Jammu elected its new core committee members during a meeting which was held to constitute the body under the supervision of renowned media personnel at The Grand Hill Resort, Jammu. The team will be headed by City Press Club President Arvind Sharma (The Indian Express) while the senior vice president post was assigned to Sunil Bandral (Take One Media). Naresh Dubey (Dainik Jagran) was nominated as vice president while the secretary general will be Sunil Soni (State Observer). For the post of cashier, Susheel Bushan Sharma (Take One Media) was chosen. Apart from this, a team of six executive members was also elected by the core committee with Rajesh Sharma (Mail Today) Sunil Jamwal (The New Indian Express), Sachin Slathia (State Times), Talvinder Jeet Singh (The Indian Express), Sanjay Ghai (Hindustan Times) and Sudhir Ganjoo (The Hindu) as the nominees. The core members of the City Press Club apprised the media workers regarding the motive behind the constitution of the Club. The elected body also presented a memorandum of the City Press Club. While speaking on the occasion Rajesh Sharma highlighted the few issues of the club members and also appreciated the initiative taken by the club members in laying down the foundation of City Press Club. |
