State Consumer Right Day observed across Ramban District 9/1/2015 12:25:05 AM BANIHAL, 31: State Consumer Right Day celebrated today across the Ramban district the measure function was held at community hall Maitra Ramban. Additional District Development Commissioner Ramban Ravinder Kumar Sadhu was a chief guest on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion ADDC said that there are various consumer forums established at state and district levels to ensure that no right of the consumer is violated. He also said that while purchasing prefer packaged items only and must ensure the date of packing and expiry. Various PRI representatives spoke on this occasion about the right for protection of consumers. They raised certain concerns and issues related to their day to day life in buyer seller relationship. AD CAPD Ramban Ab Rashid presented detailed of overview of the services being provided by the department for benefits of all common masses. TSO Ramban Chamel Singh, PRI’s and large number of public gathering also participated in the programme.The same function was also held in Ramsoo where the SDM Ramsoo Ravi Thakur was the chief guest during the occasion besides TSO Ramsoo Nazir Ahmed, Khan, SHO Ramsoo Nazir Ahmed Dar, head master high school Ramsoo local panchas and Sarpanchses and locals was also Present there. Speakers through detailed light on the day and aware the consumers that what the department had done for the consumers and aware the consumers for different related issues with CAPD. In Banihal in this function Tehsildar Banihal was the chief guest on the occasion,TSO Banihal, PRI members local dealers and people was present. In the function consumers were aware in detail that how the CAPD departments helps the general masses and benefits them.
