JAMMU, Sept 3 : Gulshan Kumar of BSF School Paloura, Randeep of MHAC Nagbani and Rajinder Kumar of GHSS Marh secured 400 meters gold in under-14, under-17 and under-19 age groups respectively in the inter-school athletics meet of Jammu district, organised by the Directorate of Young Services and Sports (DYSS), at MA Stadium, here today.
On the other hand, Vishal Singh and Roshan Singh, both from MHAC Nagbani and Kanwar Pal Singh of KC International School also excelled in field event of Discuss Throw clinching first place in under-14, under-17 and under-19 respectively. A good number of over 800 young athletes from various educational institutions of Jammu district turned up for the competition.
