Jammu, Sept 8: Jammu Development Authority (JDA) has intensified its anti- encroachment drive on the directions of Vice Chairman JDA Mubarak Singh and enforcement wing of JDA demolished more than (5) five pacca structures i.e plinth/ Superstructure and Compound Wall in village Sidhra-Majeen. JDA spokesperson said, "The ongoing illegal constructions of Shabir Ahmad S/o Abdul Ghani, Talib Hussain S/o Ghulam Qadir, Haji Khanday, Rafoq Hussain S/o Kaku, Kuku Choudhary S/o Nathu Choudhary, Rasool S/o Mohd Shafi and Abdul Rashid were stopped on spot while the construction material/tools used in the construction were also confiscated." "A team headed by Director Land Management, JDA S Gurvinderjeet Singh, Chief Khilafwarzi Officer S Narinder Singh, Tehsildar Zone-(B) JDA Ashraf Parvaiz, KWO, Pankaj S. Sambyal, Khilfawarzi Inspector's Girdhari Lal Pandita, Balbir Siingh, Rajinder S. Choudhary and Parshotam Kumar along with revenue wing & other field staff launched anti encroachment drive," spokesperson said. He said, "the enforcement team removed encroachments being raised by the following encroachers namely Jumma, Mrs Babli who are illegally disposing of JDA land and acting as contractors for raising the unauthorized structures and dupe the innocent people by provoking that the illegal land will be regularized by JDA in latter stage. Meanwhile P/P Sidhra is requested to lodge FIRs against Jumma and Mrs Babli," he added JDA enforcement team was provided the requisite police protection as required by the I/C Police Post Sidhra Shri Noor Ahmad on the direction of SDPO Nagrota Bharat Bushan & SHO Police Station Nagrota Dalip Singh. Jammu Development Authority has warned the general public, trespassers, habitual encroaches & land mafia who are disposing JDA land un-authorizly on fake documents & misrepresenting the innocent people to desist from disposing of JDA land in the villages Sidhra, Majeen, Rangora & Dwara. |
