Well informed sources told Early Times that Khurshid Ganai has expressed his anger about the government's decision of appointing B.R Sharma as Chief Secretary."He submitted his leave application on Monday and did not attend his office," one of the government official said. When contacted FC Industries Khurshid Ahmad Ganai admitted that he has sent his leave to the GAD. He said that Sharma was Junior to him in the IAS. "He is from 84 batch and I am from batch 82. I cannot work under him in the secretariat at all. "If the government gives me another assignment which is independent and where I don't have to work under B. R Sharma I will join it," he said. It is pertinent to mention here that senior IAS officer Khursheed A Ganai had conveyed to the J&K Government that it should take a call on appointment of new Chief Secretary of the State "as per the seniority and set rules.
