Student organizations criticize MoS R&B for not opening Degree College | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Sept 8: In a joint statement by Chenab Valley Students' Association (CVSA), Paddar Student Welfare Association (PSWA) have strongly criticized the announcement made by MoS PWD Sunil Sharma regarding opening of Government Degree College for Padder during the ensuing session as a result of which the carrier of hundreds of students is at the stake. The students wing CVSA chairman Shakti Chouhan, State president PSWA Mehran Anjum Mir have said that MoS PWD Sunil Sharma is playing with the sentiments of the students by announcing GDC for Padder and publically announced that the classes of Government Degree College will start in Padder during this session for which the students who have passed HSS Part-II will not have to suffer any more and for this purpose suitable accommodation is being identified. They said hundreds of students were keenly waiting to seek admission in GDC Padder as announced by MoS R&B Sunil Sharma and since the admission in BA/BSc Part - I in other degree colleges of Jammu Province stands closed, the students of Padder are still waiting for starting of GDC. |
