Workers take out rally demanding execution of tunnel 9/8/2015 11:41:10 PM Early Times Report BANIHAL, Sept 8: The agitated workers who was on strike from past more than one month demanding execution of 8.45 km long Banihal Qazigund four lane tunnel today took out march. The march started from tunnel site up to SDM office Douru Anantnag where the leaders of workers and officers of NAVYUGA construction company were present. Eyewitnesses said that during the agitation of workers three workers fell unconscious during the agitation and they were shifted to Douru hospital. They were identified as Gulzar Ahmed, Nasir Ahmed both residents of Banihal and Nazir ahmed from Qazigund .Workers alleged that company management is not serious on fulfilling their demands they more said that during a negotiation firstly company management agreed and accepted their union under CITU but they still not signed the agreement for the opening of an Union office in project premises.
