JAMMU, Sept 8 : "Literacy is a bridge from misery to hope", with this message Jammu Sanskriti School observed the International Literacy Day here today. A "Nukkad Nattak" was presented by Jammu Sanskriti School students at Bishnah town to celebrate the 'World Literary Day.' The theme of the day's activities was 'Education for Girl Child' & 'Each One Teach One' Rohini Aima, Principal cum Vice Chairperson inaugurated the programme with the slogans on wall magazine which focused on education of men and women that plays a vital role in the growth and development of the family and the nation. The Nukkad Nattak depicted various challenges faced by women in the society such as gender bias, sexual harassment, violence, job insecurity etc.
