LMD Udhampur books famous sweets shops at Kud 9/17/2015 11:36:48 PM Early Times Report Udhampur, Sept 17: On the directions of District Development Commissioner Dr. Shahid Iqbal, a team of Legal Metrology led by Assistant Controller Legal Metrology Jaideep Singh Sambyal accompanied by TSO Chennai conducted surprise raids on famous sweets shops at Kud and booked 4 sweets shops namely Prem Sweet Shop, Taj Sweet Shop, Arora Sweets shop on the spot for delivering lesser quantity of sweets to consumer as fleecing them by including the weight of packing in total weight thereby selling paper box at the rate of costly sweets. Meanwhile the team also warned other shop keepers not to indulge in anti consumer activities by delivering lesser quantity of commodity to the hapless commuters on Jammu Srinagar National Highway.
