RAMBAN, Sept 17: Three persons were killed in separate road accidents on Jammu-Srinagar national highway in Ramban district.
Two persons were killed when a truck in which they were travelling skidded off the road and fell down into a deep gorge at Nachlana area of Banihal tehsil last evening, police said here today.
After getting information, police rushed to the spot and retrieved the bodies from the site and shifted them to a hospital.
In another accident, a driver of a tanker was killed when the vehicle skidded of the road and plunged into a gorge at Nowgam Gund area yesterday, they said.
Body was recovered from the site of accident and shifted to a hospital, they said. The bodies will be handed over to their family members after conducting legal formalities, they said, adding, cases have been registered in this direction. |
