| Social Welfare Department organizes awareness camp at Samba | | |  Early Times Report
SAMBA, Sept 17: The District Social Welfare Office Samba and Government Higher Secondary School Ramgarh organized an awareness camp at Government Higher Secondary School Ramgarh regarding pre-matric and post-matric minority scholarship. The participants included official staff of Social Welfare Department, teachers from different schools, representatives of minority community, local representatives and children belonging to the minority community.
District Social Welfare Officer Samba Mushtaq Ahmad Chowdhary briefed the participants about the scholarships given to minorities and other communities. The participants apprised District Social Welfare Officer Samba about the problems being faced in filling up the forms and the distribution of scholarships. The same issue was raised by the representatives of minority community. District Social Welfare Officer Samba assured the participants that scholarship distribution will be streamlined thoroughly. They were also briefed about online submission of forms. |
