Bovine smuggling bid foiled, 13 animals rescued | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 17: As a part of drive against menace of Bovine smuggling, Budhal Police foiled a smuggling bid and rescued 13 bovine animals while manhunt has been launched to nab the accused who managed to give slip to police taking advantage of darkness late last night. According to police a police team led by SHO Budhal Inspector Kuldeep Raj under the supervision of Addl SP Rajouri Tejinder Singh on intervening night of 16/17raised a naka at Targain, Budhal. "During naka checking, Police rescued 13 bovine animals which were on its way from Targain to Budhal via Shopian illegal smuggled toward Srinagar without any permission", said police spokesman, further adding that bovine smugglers managed to escape from the spot taking the advantage of darkness. A case under FIR No 68/2015 u/s 188 of RPC, 3 PCA stands registered at Police Station Budhal and further investigations are on. |
