JAMMU, Sept 17 : In continuation with Sanitation Week Celebrations being organized by Surinsar-Mansar Development Authority, a sanitation drive Programme was organised at Govt. Higher Sec. School Surinsar today.
Chief Executive Officer, Surinsar-Mansar Development Authority, Dr Vikas Gupta flagged off the rally wherein students of Higher Sec School Surinsar, civil society members, Sarpanch, Panches and other stakeholders participated. Students marched around the lake at Surinsar with banners, hoardings depicting various social messages. CEO, SMDA said that civil society members need to keep the area polythene free and emphasized on use of dustbins for proper collection and disposal of garbage. He also emphasized that Surinsar is a famous tourist destination that also has religious importance is visited by people in large numbers which is required to be kept pollution free and its surroundings clean. |
